What Campbell textbook should I use for AP biology?

Hi, I am in grade 11 and planning to take AP biology during my grade12 year(since i have 2 spare classes, i will have plenty of time to study) I have decided that I am going to be using Campbell's biology textbook to study from. But I am not sure which edition I should be using to study with. And could anyone please tell me what are the main differences between each edition.

Thx in advanceWhat Campbell textbook should I use for AP biology?
You should get the latest edition that way you can sell it for top dollar after you're done. If you buy an older version, then it won't be worth as much when you're done.

If you decide to use the 9th edition, the best prices are being updated at http://campbellbiologybook.comWhat Campbell textbook should I use for AP biology?
I used the 6th edition for AP Biology and got along fine. It wasn't the current edition, but it was good enough.

I don't know what the current edition is, but really, any edition should be fine. The only differences between the editions is the Genetics unit, because we're still in the process of comprehending the subject.

All other chapters are essentially the same(They're not going to be discovering new organelles or symbiotic relationships, are they?).What Campbell textbook should I use for AP biology?
Go to the AP Bio teacher at your school and ask him which textbook he'll be using next year.

I rather like the 7th edition myself. It's not the newest, so it's less expensive. The forward says that it was revised from previous editions to put an emphasis on evolution.
My class has both 5th and 7th edition, and I can't really tell the difference except that the 7th contains a bit more updated information. Any recent edition should get uou along fine.
