So when I got home today I set my textbook (which I got today, ironically) on the counter, which turned out to be wet. Now my textbook has some puffy bubbles on the edges. How do I make sure the cover dries out without noticeable damage on the cover? How to repair water damage on a textbook cover?
DRY IT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
LAY IT FLAT ON A WARM TO HOT, HARD, DRY SURFACE. (LIKE THE TOP OF A CLOTHES DRYER) PLACE SOMETHING HEAVY ATOP THE BOOK AND LEAVE IT THERE UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY DRY. YOU MIGHT PUT SOMETHING LIKE A BED SHEET BETWEEN THE DRYER SURFACE AND THE BOOK TO KEEP IT FROM STICKING TO THE DRYER.
