I'm writing a paper, and I decided to use one chapter from my textbook as a reference.. However I have run into a slight problem. The chapter is from the book Silent Spring (second chapter), and it is in my textbook, The Informed Argument. I am confused. Which should I cite, the book Silent Spring itself, or should I cite the textbook, because technically that's where I found it?

i think you site it where u found it. however, if i were you id find that book within the book and read it. than ull only have to site that book to avoid confusion!
