Is there a good textbook for learning Tagalog?

I want to pick up on some of the Tagalog language before I go visit my bf's family in a few years. I seem to be pretty good with languages and I have someone who can help me, but I wanted to buy a good textbook to help me out structurally and I don't want to waste my money on a crappy one. Does anyone know of a good one?Is there a good textbook for learning Tagalog?
Search Amazon. It's not hard, as I think there are maybe three texts maximum. Not a popular language.

Ask him to send you a digital copy (scanned) of the ABAKADA. He knows that so just mention it and he'll know what to look for. It's the very first book that almost all Filipino children should ever read. It teaches the fundamentals of Filipino language and of course how to speak each syllables properly. Is there a good textbook for learning Tagalog?
Do what I do, pick up a book by Dominador B. Limeta. By doing so, your vocabulary will sky rocket, such as mine:

eksakto - exact
banyaga - alien, stranger
tagpo - encounter
pagbubunyi - jubilation
handog - gift
panibugho - jealous
etsetera - etc
eskultura - culture
espada - sword
espesyalista - specialist
