I'm pretty much a freshmen in college, however I'm planning to major in Neuroscience and I read a lot of independent author's takes on the subject...Now I'm sort of looking for the best Neuroscience Introductory textbook to study on my own...Advice?

I read this one with no real grounding in neuroscience just a basic level of biology and chemistry.
It is very good you may need to re-read certain bits but that is just because neuroscience is bloody hard and I am dyslexic. However it has made me want to do neuroscience.
