How can i make the school textbook less boring and take notes faster?

I have an advanced class and they are making us read out of a textbook every day. The contents are so boring,and i end up daydreaming all the way through the book. how can i make it less boring. And read faster.How can i make the school textbook less boring and take notes faster?

It sux, I know, but if you miss something during class, try to remember what you missed, and read it at home. Augh, HOMEWORK!!



If you read slowly, practice at home to help you get used to a faster pace class. That alone may be enough to help you keep up in class. If you can understand what's going on and you focus on that, focus on what the teacher is saying, it becomes that much easier to read the textbook. Ugh. dont do it. or go to a conceptual class if ur too big a ***** to do ur work.
You may be in over your head, but you can try taking a speedreading course. They also help comprehension.
