How do you cite a passage within a textbook in MLA?

I'm writing a philosophy paper, and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to cite a work by Plato, which is in my textbook, in my paper, and on the works cited. Do I cite the textbook page, or Plato in the paper, and what do I cite in my Works Cited?How do you cite a passage within a textbook in MLA?
