I'm planning on registering for the course in the next couple days but was planning on buying some used textbooks for it. The girl I'm buying them from got them brand new in October 2010. Would they still be the latest edition? And do the editions change much from year to year?What is the latest edition of the Canadian Securities Course Textbook?
Hi there...I work with CSI and I can help you with your question. We update or revise the CSC annually. In 2010, we launched our update in August. If you're buying textbooks second hand...and the person you're buying them from enrolled in October 2010 and purchased textbooks from CSI with her enrollment, the textbooks will be valid for the current version of the course. We're planning another update in August 2011. Your textbook will still be valid, however we'll provide a PDF of any examinable changes to content in your e-Learning course materials that accompany your enrollment.
Be sure use all the texbook and e-Learning study materials in the course that come with your enrollment. Also be sure to check the Discussion Boards to touch base with our Learning Support service which is also included with your enrolment. Our team of financial professionals will be able to answer any questions you have about the course.
