sign out of yahoo..and get to studies. NOW!How can I catch up on 3 chapters in my Algebra textbook, when exams are in a week and a half?
Get a Doctor's excuse so you can get an I or sit next to a smart student in class.
You have a week and a half?...I would sit down and lock my door and do some SERIOUS reading and homework! If you just dont understand it, talk to your teacher or counsler about getting help or a tutor! I hope you do well! Good luck! How can I catch up on 3 chapters in my Algebra textbook, when exams are in a week and a half?
get a friend who did better on those chapters to Tudor you in the basics of them really quick that should help some
Go through each of the chapters and write down the formulas or main concepts from each chapter. Make notecards. It is a great way to study! Then spend a little bit of time studying each note card before you 'quiz' yourself using the sample/summary problems at the end of each section. I always found that quizzing myself helped me to figure out what concepts I need to spend more time on.
Most importantly, you mentioned that you have a week and a half to prepare, right? That should be plenty of time as long as you set aside an hour or two each day just for Algebra.
Hope this helps ~ Good Luck!!
You need a time machine to go back in time and study all over. JK
Now, you have to realize that maths are easy, you dont need to study from memory. Just understand the formulas and steps to solve problems. Once you figured out, you will find that the problems are almost all equal, and the only thing changin are the numbers, equations, etc.. but problems remains the same.
Go back to the point you are sure to understand. Then read one chapter, read several times the book and analize examples, try some exercices. Be sure to be familiar and only then move to next chapter.
A tutor can help to speed up
Good luck
