How can I understand and grasp the concept? How do you guys read through the textbook and understand the subject inside and out? Any method would work thanksHow to read the physics textbook effectively?
I always just go straight to the problem sets. Start with the first one and go to the text to find if I can work out the answer. And just go through the whole lot.
Its not what you call "understanding" but it passes for it, and eventually ( because of a lot of hard work ) all the tutors will think you grasp it and thats all that matters.
And actually, your understanding will have become as good as anyone elses. A lot of work though - probably best done in controlled bursts - one hour slots, twice a day....every day!
I wish I'd done it at a time when it would have made a difference. Too old by the time I worked out what needed done.
Good luck
