Is a teachers textbook edition the same as a students copy?

I just purchased a textbook and didn't. Realize it was the prof. Copy does it matterIs a teachers textbook edition the same as a students copy?
The only difference is that it has more information in it. It will give extra examples for teachers to apply to students. It will also give all the answers to the questions on the same page rather than at the end of the textbook. This book might actually help you out in the long run, but if you have open book tests, your teacher wouldn't let you use it. Hope this helps.

It probably has extra notes in it and if there are questions in the book, there would be an answer key.
