Which organic chemistry textbook did you use when you took the class?

The required textbook for us is Organic Chemistry (4th ed.) by Maitland Jones. I have that book and Organic Chemistry (6th ed.) by Francis Carey.



If you've used any edition of either of those, as a student or instructor, what was your opinion of the book? If not, which book did you have and how useful did you find it to be?Which organic chemistry textbook did you use when you took the class?
I used Organic Chemistry by T. W. Graham Solomons forever ago. I thought it was a pretty good book, and by now, it's probably better. If it wasn't for my amazing and patient instructor, I would have had a much harder time...but still not as hard a time as biochem.Which organic chemistry textbook did you use when you took the class?
