Best textbook to learn about the human brain?

I was wondering what is the best starter textbook to understand the inner workings and function of the human brain? Not necessarily psychology, but more like anatomy and science. Thanks!!Best textbook to learn about the human brain?
Wow. It takes years of study and quite a few textbooks and journals to even start to get a grasp of how the brain works. If you want gross anatomy, there are several Neuroanatomy texts. For a non-neuroscience student , Netter's series is good. Neurophysiology, Neurochemistry, Neuropharmacology, Neuropatholgy, Cellular Neurophysiology, etc. all have textbooks. There are journals in each of those fields, and more. Depends on how deep you want to delve into the subject.

I assume you are not a graduate student, or you would already have your textbooks. Look at Netter's Neuroanatomy. Paint Pots, but a lot easier to read than the standard Anatomy books.Best textbook to learn about the human brain?
