What I mean is a textbook that says "vectors", and one method for doing them that works in all cases. One heading says "kinematics" and it shows a method that works in all cases.
Boilerplate, In a wordWhat do you think of a physics textbook that shows only one good method for doing every problem?
Sucks!
When I took Dynamics I had Beer's and Johnson.
In one chapter we had the block sliding down the plane and had to solve it using forces. A few weeks later we had the same block sliding down the plane using momentum.
Later it was the same block sliding down the plane but using energy. Yeah, energy rocks! No vectors, just scalars!
