I am a mathematics student and I need someone to recommend a good algebra textbook that covers everything from groups to ring to modules. I really like a text like K.A Strouds 'Engineering Mathematics' cos it makes maths so simple.Can anyone recommend any new algebra textbook?
Dummit and Foote's 'Abstract Algebra'. It's probably the best undergraduate-level algebra text in terms of comprehensiveness.
