In University level Latin I do you finish the whole Wheelock textbook?

Wheelock's Latin, the textbook, is really long. In a college introductory Latin course using this book do they finish the whole book, or just half?In University level Latin I do you finish the whole Wheelock textbook?
Theoretically, Wheelock's book is designed to cover the first year (not semester) of college/university Latin. When I taught Latin 101, I based my syllabus on that assumption and aimed to cover the first half (twenty chapters) that semester. We didn't get anywhere near there! Just now, looking at my own copy of Wheelock from my undergraduate days, I see that we used it in INTERMEDIATE Latin, and now I can't remember where we started or whether we finished the book that year.



If anyone else looking at this question, as teacher or student,. got through that whole book in one year, I'd like to hear about it!
